Rare Antique Daily Alarm Mantel Clock

1890-1910 by the Union Clock Company out of Furtwangen (Baqdenia) Germany

FEATURES:

  • Beautifully Crafted Ornate Carved Wood Grain Walnut Casing
  • Gold Decorative Decor
  • Decorative Wood and Glass Panel Door cover
  • Metal Clock Face with Roman Numeral Paper Dial and Brass Trim
  • Centre Dial Alarm setting which Strikes Hammer on Bell with Coil Mechanism
  • Daily wind Spring Driven Tick Tock Clock Movement
  • Silent with No Strikes on the Hours
  • 2x Winding Arbors on the Dial - Left turns RIGHT and Right turns RIGHT
  • Left Arbor for the Alarm function and the other for the Time 
  • Ornate Adjustable Pendulum & Winding Key

CONDITION:

  • Completely dismantled ~ every part removed, sanded, polished, stained & hand-painted
  • Casing and parts fully restored
  • The mechanical movement has undergone a basic clean and lubrication
  • The clock is currently in working order
  • Wear consistent with age and use
